There’s always a lot happening in the Columbus restaurant world! Here’s the latest:

  • Following closely on the heels of El Camino Inn closing last week, its partner restaurant next door Little Palace closed as of this past Wednesday. As with El Camino, the owners said they were unable to reach a satisfactory lease agreement with their landlord.
  • JT’s Pizza & Pub has opens its second location today – Friday, Nov. 29 – at 845 Goodale Blvd. in the Grandview Yard development. JT’s first location is in Linworth; they’re known for their pizzas and their wings in particular. Check out their new location here!
  • The Peanut Shoppe re-opened earlier this week at 4 E. Broad St. The Shoppe, which has been part of downtown Columbus since the 1930s, is under new ownership, and moved from its long-time home on East State Street across Capitol Square. Get a look at their new digs here!
  • The North Market Downtown announced the newest addition to its vendor lineup, Holy Crepes! The crepe shop has a stall at the Bridge Park market already. Its opening is set for sometime in December.
  • Multiple sources have reported that the owners of Tortilla Street Food truck are building out a food truck court in Old Hilliard, close to the Center Street Market and the newly opened Firefly Winery.
  • This Sunday, Dec. 1, The Daily Growler hosts its annual Beer and Donut pairing at its different locations.
