After years of rocking market stands and pop-ups, Annie Dickson finally opened her own bakery storefront in Clintonville! Now you have a home base for brownies, cakes, and bagel bombs.

Cameron Mitchell has opened multiple Columbus restaurants over the past several months, including Cento in German Village last August and Del Mar at Easton earlier this summer. His newest restaurant Butcher & Rose is a lavish steakhouse occupying the ground floor of the newly renovated Preston Centre downtown.

Coast Wine House added a sister restaurant just a couple doors down in Historic Dublin. Gene’s features a “seasonal new American” menu paired with an understandably robust wine selection.

The first Columbus location of this South Korean-based chain opened in the old LemonShark space at Easton. Paris Baguette features loads of pastries, sandwiches, soups, and coffee.

After a couple years roasting – and collecting awards for it – Royal Flamingo Coffee opened its own shop inside I Like It Like That cocktail bar. It’s an excellent spot to experience their dynamic selection of coffees.

The Pelino’s Pasta team is on a roll! The Victorian Village restaurant opened a companion sandwich-and-gelato shop in the Short North late last year, and this July they transformed the former Tasi Cafe space into a breakfast and lunch spot called Caffe Pelino.

The Original Pancake House added a third central Ohio location, this one close to New Albany. It joins existing shops for the Portland-based chain in Upper Arlington and Westerville.

There’s been a lot of steakhouse news in recent months, and at the end of July The Capital Grille opened its first Columbus location in the former Champps space, in the Lennox Town Center plaza.

Cincinnati’s Zundo Ramen, which started in Over-the-Rhine, opened a first Columbus location on North High Street in the Old North neighborhood.

Chef and owner Michael Frame, a veteran of 101 Beer Kitchen and Cameron Mitchell Restaurants, opened Two Rivers Restaurant and Bar in Powell this month.

After appearing at festivals and events around the city, Sofi’s Mini Donuts opened their own kioski inside Polaris Fashion Place. It can be found at the Grand Entrance space of the mall, on the upper level overlooking the Center Court.

After starting as a cart and then doing a stint inside Rambling House, Honey Cup Coffee finally opened its own storefront on Summit Street in SoHud!

Red Rabbit Ramen closed down earlier this year but came to life in July under new ownership! The cart parks outside The Bar at Echo Spirits regularly.
